Independent Living

Some of our older students need preparation to live on their own. Sometimes this may be in college, in the armed forces, or in a community setting. Timber Ridge School has a house on campus and a 4-unit apartment building in Winchester. Students experience living on their own with support from our staff. Through the use of the curriculum series "Skillstreaming the Adolescent," we teach the skills that are needed for someone to live on their own.
